I am a very competitive person. The only thing I don't like is all the running. Otherwise I love everything about basketball.
What is offense and what is defense? Offense is when your team has the ball. When your on offense you want to score. Defense is when your defending the ball. The other team has the ball. You don't want to let the other team score.
As you can see basketball is a great sport to play. Some people don't like it but I hope you like it better then what you did.

Believe it or not, Ripley stops racing for rival
Josh Ripley, a junior at Andover High School, was running at a varsity track meet on September 16th. He heard a man screaming in pain. Josh was a mile into the race when he heard this sound. Ripley saw runner Mark Paulauskas laying down screaming in pain. Ripley stopped picked up Mark and ran .5 of a mile to get Mark some help. Mark had a 3 inch gash in his leg from another runner's leg. Josh knew this cost him the chance to win the race, but Ripley was praised for his sportsmanship. Mark required 20 stitches at the E.R. Ripley stated. "I just knew I needed to help him," Ripley said. "I think a lot of other runners would have, too, had they realized the situation. But they were really focused on their race. I just couldn't leave him there." Mark's dad wrote a letter to Josh and to the principal to thank them for their kindness.

CYBER BULLYING! IS IT OK!
Eric gets a lot of pressure from his parents to do well in school. Other kids in school tease him because he works so hard but still gets bad poor scores. He gets instant messages and text messages during the day and at night about his poor grades. The word “loser” is in most of them, and the language becomes stronger every day. Today he received a text from a number he did not recognize, with a photo of his body with a turkey’s head. A thought bubble above the picture reads: “Why am I so STUPID? What a *!*#&** I am.” Eric thinks Alexis, the most popular girl in the eighth grade, is behind the message.
1. I think the way Eric was cyber bullied using anonymity. Anonymity is when you don'y know who sent it or said it. The evidence was I think its Alexis but he wasn't for sure.
2. I think Eric feels hurt and angry because of what the person said to him. The elements that make Eric feel this way are you're a "loser" and he received a picture with his body and his head was a turkey. Last there was a bubble above his picture that said“Why am I so STUPID? What a *!*#&** I am.”
3. I think Eric should tell his parents about him being cyber bullied because if he doesn't he could get hurt even more. Also is parents could tell a principal or call the cops and the people who did it could get in trouble and that would teach people not to cyber bully.
